First Quarter Operational Update - FY2019 CASHBUILD LIMITED (Registration number: 1986/001503/06) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) JSE share code: CSB ISIN: ZAE000028320 (“Cashbuild” or “the company”) FIRST QUARTER OPERATIONAL UPDATE – FY 2019 Cashbuild herewith provides its voluntary quarterly operational update. Revenue for the Cashbuild Group was up 3% on the first quarter of the prior financial year, 27 new stores opened or acquired since 1 July 2017 contributed 4% of the increase, whilst the 288 existing stores decreased by 1%. Transactions for the Cashbuild Group decreased by 1%, with new stores increasing by 5% and existing stores decreasing by 6%. Selling inflation was 3% for the quarter ending September 2018 when compared to the same quarter of 2017. Gross profit margin percentage for the Group is currently slightly lower than the same quarter of the prior year.
