CHANGES TO THE BOARD

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that
Mr Herman Troskie has resigned from his position as lead independent non-executive director of
Mettle with effect from 12 September 2017.

The board of directors of Mettle (“Board”) would like to thank Herman for his valuable contribution to
the Company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.


Mr Raymond Fenner will join the board of Mettle with effect from 18 September 2018 and will replace
Mr Troskie as lead independent non-executive director and will also be the chairman of the audit and
risk committee.

Mr Fenner, BComm (Hons), Grad Dip Tax, MComm, is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with
more than 20 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors. He previously held senior
financial management positions at Syfrets (Pty) Ltd (which now forms part of the Nedbank Group) and
Seagram SA (Pty) Ltd. Mr Fenner currently serves as a non-executive director for a number of
companies, including Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company (Pty) Ltd and is an independent
member of the audit and risk committee of the South African Rugby Union.

The Board welcomes Raymond and looks forward to his contribution to the Company.
