The 2018 Integrated Annual Report, Good Business Journey Report and Annual Financial
Statements are available online on the Group’s corporate website at

NO CHANGE STATEMENT

The Annual Financial Statements of the Group for the 52-weeks ended 24 June 2018, released
today, contain no modifications to the Preliminary Audited Group Results released on
23 August 2018.

2018 NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND GROUP RESULTS

Notice is hereby given that the 2018 Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of shareholders of the
Company will be held at 10h00 on Friday, 30 November 2018 in the Auditorium of
Woolworths House, 93 Longmarket Street, Cape Town, 8001 to transact the business as detailed
in the Notice of AGM (“the Notice”).

Shareholders are advised that the Notice, together with a summary of the Group results for the
52-weeks ended 24 June 2018, will be distributed on Friday, 28 September 2018 to shareholders
recorded in the Company’s securities register as at Friday, 21 September 2018.

The last day to trade in order to be eligible to attend and vote at the AGM is Tuesday,
20 November 2018 and the record date to determine which shareholders are entitled to participate
and vote at the AGM is Friday, 23 November 2018.

For administrative purposes only, proxy forms may be delivered as follows:

-    to the Company‘s Transfer Secretaries, Computershare Investor Services
     Proprietary Limited, by hand at Rosebank Towers, 15 Biermann Avenue, Rosebank, 2196 or
     via post at P.O. Box 61051, Marshalltown 2107, or via email at proxy@computershare.co.za,
     by 10:00 on Wednesday, 28 November 2018; and
-    thereafter, to the Company by hand, for the attention of the Group Company Secretary at
     Woolworths House, 93 Longmarket Street, Cape Town, 8001 or electronically to the
     Group Company Secretary at Governance@woolworths.co.za.

Any forms of proxy not submitted by this time may nevertheless be submitted to the
Transfer Secretaries before the meeting or handed to the Chairman of the AGM prior to the
shareholder exercising any rights at the meeting.

WOOLWORTHS PROPRIETARY LIMITED ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Woolworths Proprietary Limited is the guarantor of the Company’s Domestic Medium Term Note Programme. 
Senior Unsecured Floating Rate Noteholders are advised that the Annual Financial Statements of the 
guarantor will be available on or about 28 September 2018, upon request from the Group Company 
Secretary at Governance@woolworths.co.za.
