UPDATE REGARDING GROWTHPOINT’S FINAL DIVIDEND IN RESPECT OF THE
FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2018
In its financial results for the year ended 30 June 2018, announced on Wednesday, 29
August 2018, (“results announcement”), Growthpoint advised its shareholders that the
Board had agreed to offer shareholders a dividend re-investment alternative in terms of
which a shareholder would be entitled to elect to reinvest all or part of the Final Dividend of
107.40 cents per share (“Final Dividend”) declared for the six months ended 30 June 2018,
in new Growthpoint shares, subject to the right to withdraw that reinvestment alternative.
Shareholders are now advised that, based on current market conditions and pricing of
Growthpoint’s shares, a sub-committee of the Board appointed for this purpose has decided
not to continue with offering the election for shareholders to re-invest the Final Dividend in
new Growthpoint shares. Accordingly, shareholders are advised that they will receive their
Final Dividend in full, in cash.
The salient dates in respect of the payment of the Final Dividend remain unchanged from
those set out in the results announcement.
