Sheldon is currently employed as the Operations and Human Resources Manager for PLG Schools and PLG Retirement Villages and has held these positions since 2014 and 2016 respectively, overseeing the growth of the schools’ business since inception. He previously held managerial and operational positions in the food and hospitality industry, starting his management career in 2001 with Southern Sun as assistant food and beverage manager, until 2007 when he joined Orion Hotels & Resorts. After two years he joined Seasons Sport and Spa as General Manager until he joined Golden Spear Spur as an operator and general manager for three years. Sheldon joined the Pembury group in 2014 as operations manager for the retirement villages business and was involved at the planning stages for the first PLG school at Willow View. In 2016, he also took over the role of HR manager and thus has good operational insight into the group.
