RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING


Shareholders are advised that at the annual general meeting of shareholders held on Friday, 27 July 2018 (in terms
of the notice dispatched on 31 May 2018) all the resolutions tabled thereat were passed by the requisite majority of
shareholders, while non-binding resolution number 1 was voted against by more than 25% of the voting rights
exercised in respect of that resolution.

Details of the results of voting at the annual general meeting are as follows:

    -   total number of Equites shares in issue as at the date of the annual general meeting: 454 026 110.
    -   total number of Equites shares that were present/represented at the annual general meeting: 348 514 192
        being 77% of the total number of Equites shares that could have been voted at the annual general meeting.

by more than 25% of the voting rights exercised in respect of this resolution, Equites extends an invitation to
dissenting shareholders to engage with the company in order to address their concerns. Shareholders are requested
to address their concerns to the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, by submitting an email to Equites
company secretary at riaan@equites.co.za by 10 August 2018. The Chairman of the Remuneration Committee will
in turn contact dissenting shareholders to engage further with them on their concerns.
