BOARD CHANGE - RETIREMENT OF CHRIS SEABROOKE

Datatec Limited, the international Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
Company, announces that Chris Seabrooke will retire from the Board at the AGM on 20
September 2018. As previously announced, Chris will stand down from the Audit, Risk and
Compliance Committee, both as Chairman and member on 31 May 2018. Johnson Njeke
will succeed Chris as Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee Chairman on that date.

Chris became a director of Datatec in 1994 when the company was first listed on the JSE
and has served on all board committees during his tenure including as Chairman of the
Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee for 11 years.

Stephen Davidson, Chairman of the Board, commented:

“Chris has served Datatec as an independent non-executive director for 24 years. I
would like to record the Board’s sincerest thanks for his outstanding service during
his tenure. The contribution of his expertise to the Board and to the direction and
success of the business has been inestimable. His guidance, sound judgement and
good counsel provided diligently throughout those 24 years with completely
undiminished independence, will be sorely missed.”
