AMENDMENT TO THE NOTICE OF ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE HOLDERS OF ALL OF THE
NOTES ISSUED UNDER THE ZAR31 910 000 000 DOMESTIC MEDIUM TERM NOTE PROGRAMME

Capitalised terms and expressions used in this announcement and not otherwise defined herein, shall
have the meanings ascribed to such terms and expressions in both the programme memorandum
dated 14 April 2014 in respect of the Issuer’s ZAR31 910 000 000 domestic medium term note
programme, as guaranteed by the Government of the Republic of South Africa, and the
announcements, the last of which was published on SENS on 16 May 2018 (“Announcement”).

SANRAL hereby advises Noteholders that the submission deadline for proxy forms has been
amended from 24 hours before the Adjourned Meeting, to 48 hours before the Adjourned Meeting,
being no later than 09:00 on Monday, 4 June 2018 (“Deadline”). Noteholders are requested to submit
their completed proxy form, through their CSDP, to the Transfer Agent and to also provide Nedbank
Limited, acting through its Nedbank Corporate and Investment Banking division, in its capacity as the
Arranger, with a copy of the signed proxy form, by email to NswanaM@Nedbank.co.za.

Should a Noteholder fail to submit the proxy form by the Deadline, a proxy form may be handed to the
chairperson of the Adjourned Meeting before the appointed proxy can exercise any rights of the
Noteholder at the Adjourned Meeting.

All other details contained in the Announcement and the notice of Adjourned Meeting, distributed to
Noteholders, remain unchanged.
