Shareholders are referred to the announcement published by Murray & Roberts on the Stock
Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited on 30 October 2017, regarding the sale of Genrec to
the Southern Palace Group of Companies, a black-owned and managed South African industrial
group.

Shareholders are advised that the transaction has been implemented in accordance with its terms
effective 1 May 2018.
