Following an extensive and robust process and in accordance with paragraph 3.75 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that Board of Directors / Audit Committee intends to nominate for approval by Telkom’s shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General meeting to be held on 23rd August 2018 the appointment of PWC and SizweNtsalubaGobodo (SNG) as Telkom’s new joint external auditors for the financial year ending 31 March 2019. Shareholders are further advised that the board of Telkom has terminated the appointment of Nkonki Inc as joint auditors of Telkom following that firm’s filing for voluntary liquidation with the Master of the High Court. The Board would like to thank Nkonki for their service. As a consequence of the termination of Nkonki’s appointment, EY will be the sole auditor signing off Telkom’s Annual Financial Statements for the year ended 31st March 2018 where after they will retire as auditors to Telkom on 22 August 2018 following 20 years of service.
