Update regarding the acquisition of LAWtrust


Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcements dated 30 October 2017 and 14 December 2017 in which
the acquisition by Ansys of 100% of the issued share capital and outstanding shareholder claims in Law Trusted
Third Party Services (Pty) Ltd (“LAWtrust”) (“the Transaction”) was announced.

Shareholders are advised that the Competition Commission has unconditionally approved the Transaction on 24
April 2018.

The Company expects the remaining conditions precedent to be fulfilled by the end of May 2018, with an
effective transaction date of 1 June 2018. Shareholders will be advised when the Transaction becomes
unconditional.
