SATRIX COLLECTIVE INVESTMENT SCHEME
SATRIX INDI PORTFOLIO
JSE Code: STXIND
ISIN: ZAE000036364
("Satrix Indi" or the "ETF")

2002

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CHANGE TO THE FTSE/JSE CAPPED INDI 25 INDEX

Holders of Satrix Indi securities are referred to the communication
sent out by the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme on 22 December
2017 regarding the proposed name change of the portfolio and the
change of the underlying index which the Satrix Indi ETF tracks.

The change in the name to Satrix Capped Indi Portfolio and change to
the FTSE/JSE Capped Indi 25 Index (J311) has become effective as from
Monday, 19 March 2018.

As per the SENS Announcement, the implementation of the FTSE/JSE
Capped Indi 25 Index has had no effect on either the number of issued
Satrix I n d i securities, or the value of each Satrix I n d i
security.

There is however a difference in the closing index levels of the
FTSE/JSE Indi 25 Index and the FTSE/JSE Capped Indi 25 Index which
required that an adjustment be made to the amount that each Satrix
Indi security represents of the FTSE/JSE Capped Indi 25 Index.

Therefore to cater for the difference in the closing index levels a
factor of 1.02023 (“Adjustment Factor”) was calculated based on the
closing index level of the FTSE/JSE Indi 25 Index of 76561 relative
to that of the FTSE/JSE Capped Indi 25 Index of 75043.2 on close of
business on Friday, 16 March 2018.

Previously each Indi security tracking the FTSE/JSE Indi 25 Index
represented 1/1000th of the index level plus an amount which reflects a
pro rata portion of any accrued distribution amount within the
portfolio.

Post the implementation of the new index, each Indi security tracking
the FTSE/JSE Capped Indi 25 Index will now represent 1/1000th of the
index level x the Adjustment Factor of 1.02023 (the adjustment factor)
plus an amount which reflects a pro rata portion of any accrued
distribution amount within the portfolio.
