("Quantum Foods" or "the Company")


TRADING STATEMENT

Further to the trading update released on SENS on 5 February 2018,
shareholders are hereby advised that for the six month period ending
31 March 2018 a reasonable degree of certainty exists that:

•   headline earnings per share (HEPS) of the Company will be at least 516%,
    or 64.0 cents per share higher than reported in the comparable period;
    and
•   earnings per share (EPS) of the Company will be at least 447%, or 62.1
    cents per share higher than reported in the comparable period.

This implies that for the six months ending 31 March 2018 HEPS is expected
to be at least 76.4 cents per share and EPS is expected to be at least 76.0
cents per share, compared to HEPS of 12.4 cents per share and EPS of 13.9
cents per share reported in the comparable period ending 31 March 2017.

A further trading statement will be issued as soon as there is a reasonable
degree of certainty as to the likely range within which the Company’s headline
earnings per share and earnings per share is expected to increase.

Shareholders are also advised that no further incidents of Avian Influenza
have been experienced. Shareholders are reminded that a further outbreak of
Avian Influenza before the end of the reporting period could have a
significant impact on the expected HEPS and EPS reflected in this trading
statement.

The results for the six months ending 31 March 2018 is expected to be
published on SENS on or about 24 May 2018.

The financial information on which this trading update is based, has not
been reviewed or reported on by the Company´s external auditors.
