CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with section 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE, shareholders are
advised of the appointment of Mr Enoch Godongwana as a non-executive director with
immediate effect.

Mr Godongwana holds a Master of Science (Financial Economics) degree from the
University of London. From October 1993 to May 1997 he was the General Secretary of the
National Union of Metal Workers of South Africa. He held the position of National Deputy
Minister of Public Enterprise from May 2009 to October 2010, and then the position of
National Deputy Minister of Economic Development from October 2010 to February 2012.
Mr Godongwana is the chairperson of the Economic Transformation sub-committee of the
ANC’s National Executive. He was involved with the negotiations regarding the Labour
Relations Act and was part of the team that instituted fiscal reforms in South Africa post-
1994, including the Public Finance Management Act. Mr Godongwana is currently a
director of Isivuno Consulting.

The Board welcomes Mr Godongwana and looks forward to his contribution to the
Company.
