DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY


Shareholders are advised that Clearwater Capital Holdings (Pty) Ltd, of which Harish Mehta (a director of
Redefine) is the sole director, declared a dividend to its shareholders, a portion of which was settled (to its
shareholders other than Manton No. 1 Proprietary Limited, which is wholly-owned by The HKM Family Trust
(of which Harish Mehta is a trustee and beneficiary) and Clearwater Capital (Pty) Ltd which is wholly-owned by
The HKM Family Trust No 2 (of which Harish Mehta is a trustee and beneficiary)) by a distribution in specie on
27 February 2018 of 22 500 000 Redefine shares at R10.94 per share for a total transaction value of R246 151
382. The transaction was conducted off-market and clearance to deal was received.

Following the distribution in specie, Harish Mehta’s interest in Redefine shares comprises a beneficial interest in
63 321 052 shares and a non-beneficial interest in 17 120 239 shares.
