RESIGNATION OF CHAIRMAN

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
advised of the resignation of Mr. Diederik Fouché as chairman and independent non-executive director of
the Company with effect from 1 March 2018 due to personal reasons.

The Board wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Fouché for his long association
with the Company and his valued input and contribution since 1 November 2015 in his role as chairman
and director of the Company, chairman of the nominations committee and member of the remuneration
committee and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The nominations committee process will commence shortly to appoint an acting chairman as well as a
suitable permanent replacement for the chairman and shareholders will be advised of progress in this
regard.
