DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON DISCOVERY LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES –
(“DSYIHC”)


With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Discovery Limited have declared an interim gross
cash dividend of 101 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 19 March 2018 to ordinary shareholders,
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 16 March 2018.


In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 22 February 2017, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   local dividend tax rate is 20%,
2)   net local dividend amount is 80.8 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay new Dividends Tax and 101
     cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax; and;
3)   the issued share capital of Discovery Limited is 646 844 992 ordinary shares;
4)   Discovery Limited tax reference number 9652/003/71/7; and
5)   Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.


Accordingly, the holders of DSYIHC will receive a dividend on Monday, 19 March 2018 in terms of the Cession
clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade
(“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend is Tuesday, 13 March 2018.

DSYIHC Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Wednesday, 14 March 2018, and the record date will be Friday, 16 March 2018.
