RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT RELATING TO A POTENTIAL ACQUISITION BY
THE COMPANY

Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement published on 11 December 2017 regarding
the proposed acquisition by a consortium of broad-based black economic empowerment investors led
by the Company, of the entire fishing business of Viking Fishing Holdings Proprietary Limited (“Viking
Fishing”) as well as the acquisition by the Company of 51% of the issued share capital of Viking
Aquaculture Proprietary Limited (“Viking Aquaculture”), collectively the (“Proposed Transaction”).

Further to the 11 December 2017 announcement, it is advised that progress is being made in regard to
the Proposed Transaction and an announcement providing further details will be made as soon as
practicably possible. Accordingly, until such announcement, shareholders are advised to continue to
exercise caution when dealing in Sea Harvest securities.
