DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT – PERIOD ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2017 - UPDATE Further to the announcement released on SENS on Thursday, 4 January 2018, holders of SYGUK securities are advised that the net distribution payable on Wednesday 17 January 2018 will be a minimum amount of ZAR 1.50166 per SYGUK security. This is based on the ZAR/GBP exchange rate prevailing on Thursday, 11 January 2018 of 16.7221141. The net ZAR distribution amount of ZAR 1.50166 per SYGUK security is calculated as follows: - Gross foreign dividends of ZAR 2.52612 (two five two point six one two cents); - Less: Foreign withholding tax of ZAR 0.05436 (five point four three six cents); - Less: Equalisation of ZAR 0.34302 (three four point three zero two cents); - Plus: Interest of ZAR 0.00006 (zero point zero zero six cents); - Less: Foreign exchange income of ZAR 0.00140 (zero point one four zero cents); - Less: Management fee of ZAR 0.62574 (six two point five seven four cents); All income derived is foreign in nature and does not include any manufactured dividends.
