Diesel Power Proprietary Limited “Diesel Power” (the main operating subsidiary of Buildmax) and
which provides contract mining services to Palesa Coal, has been affected by unrest in the
surrounding community.

Diesel Power is working with Palesa Coal to resolve the situation and prevent or minimise
disruption.
