DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON TIGER BRANDS LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES – (“TBSIHC”)


With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Tiger Brands Limited declared a gross final
dividend of 702 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 15 January 2018, to ordinary shareholders recorded
in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 12 January 2018.

In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 22 February 2017, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   local dividend tax rate is 20%;
2)   net local dividend amount 561,60 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and
     702 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax;
3)   the issued share capital of Tiger Brands Limited is 192 069 868 ordinary shares;
4)   Tiger Brands Limited tax reference number 9325/110/71/7; and
5)   Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.


Accordingly, the holders of TBSIHC will receive a Tiger Brands Limited dividend amount per ordinary share
payable on Monday, 15 January 2018, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the
holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Tuesday, 9 January 2018.

TBSIHC Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Wednesday, 10 January 2018, and the record date will be Friday, 12 January 2018.
