CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Shammy
Arewanga Luvhengo, Tshegofatso Benedict Sefolo and Darryll John Castle as
Non- Executive Directors to the Board of Directors of Basil Read Holdings
Limited with immediate effect.

Mr. Luvhengo holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Honours in Geology from
the University of Cape Town. He further holds a Graduate Diploma in Mining
Engineering – Mineral Economics and Masters in Business Administration
(MBA).

Mr. Luvhengo is a qualified investment banker who started his career as a
geologist with Exxaro Resources before moving into the investment world.
Mr. Luvhengo worked for Investec Bank and Nedbank Capital, structuring and
implementing project finance and BEE deals within the resources industry.
He is an Executive Director for Business Development at Universal Coal PLC.
Prior to joining Universal Coal PLC, he worked at Nkwe Platinum Limited as
Head of Business Development and Investor Relations.


Tshegofatso Sefolo is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), he holds a
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Management
Accounting) and Certificate of Theory in Accounting. Mr. Sefolo further
holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

Mr. Sefolo has been a transactor at Ethos Private Equity; dealmaker with
Standard Bank Private Equity; Managing Director of Zico Group and is now
founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agile Capital, a black owned mid-
market private equity business. His expertise also include private equity,
mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

Darryll Castle is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a
Bachelor of Science (Civil) (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) and Masters
in Business Administration (MBA).

Mr. Castle has extensive experience in the mining industry having served as
Chief Executive Officer of Trafigura Mining Group and Anvil Mining Limited.
He also occupied the position of Chief Operations Officer at Metorex Group
Limited and Chief Executive Officer of PPC.
