DIRECTORATE CHANGES
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Mr Hilgard (Hillie) Pieter Meyer has submitted his resignation as an independent non-
executive director on the Company’s Board with effect from 31 December 2017. Mr Meyer will
therefore also resign from his position as Chairman of the Capital Oversight Committee and
member of the Audit, Acquisitions, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Mr Meyer took the decision due to the increasing demands of his other business interests. The
Board supports this decision. The Board wishes to thank Mr Meyer for his significant contribution
as an independent non-executive director since 9 June 2011, and wishes him well for the future.
Shareholders are further advised that Mr Robert Michael (Bob) Head has been elected as
Chairman of the newly established Technology Modernisation Committee, as well as interim
Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 January 2018.
