CHANGE TO ROLE OF BOARD MEMBERS

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised of a change in the role of certain directors of the Sasfin
board of directors (“Board”) as set out below.

Change in role of Mr Roland Sassoon and Mr Michael Sassoon

Roland Sassoon will step down as chief executive officer (“CEO”) of the Company
and will be succeeded by Michael Sassoon, currently an executive director of the
Company, with effect from 1 January 2018. Roland Sassoon will, however, continue
to fulfil the role as CEO of Sasfin Bank Limited, the Company’s wholly-owned

future, which will allow for a smooth transition.

The Board thanks Roland for his outstanding work in transforming the group from a
small family textile trading business to the Sasfin of today, and for his continued work
