RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, shareholders are advised of the following changes
to the board of directors of the Company:

Ms Santie Botha

Ms Santie Botha retired as independent non-executive director of
the Company, with effect from the conclusion of the board meeting
of the Company held on 24 November 2017. Santie has served on the
board of Tiger Brands since 18 August 2004 and her retirement is
in line with the succession plan of the board. Accordingly, she
also stepped down as a member of the Remuneration Committee and a
member of the Nominations Committee.

The Chairman of Tiger Brands, Dr Khotso Mokhele, conveys his
appreciation to Santie for her valued contribution over the years
as non-executive director of the Company and the chairman of the
Remuneration committee, and wishes her well in her future
endeavours. “Ms Botha has always provided the board with
strategic direction on remuneration issues and other areas of
business and her technical expertise will be profoundly missed”

Mr Clive Vaux

Mr Clive Vaux will retire as executive director of the Company,
with effect from the conclusion of its annual general meeting to
be held on 20 February 2018. Clive was appointed to this role on
16 February 2000 with executive responsibilities in respect of
corporate finance in the group.
The Chief Executive Officer of Tiger Brands, Mr Lawrence Mac
Dougall remarked, “Clive has been an inspiration to his
colleagues and contributed immensely to the growth of the Company
during his many years of valuable service and strategic input to
the group”.

The Board extends its gratitude to both Ms Botha and Mr Vaux for
their respective contributions and support to the Company and
wishes them well in their retirement.
