NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Further to the publication of the detailed results announcement on SENS on
7 November 2017, of AEEI’s audited group results for the year ended 31
August 2017 (“the Announcement”), AEEI advises that its 2017 Integrated
Report, which incorporates the condensed audited annual financial
statements for the period, together with the full audited financial
statements is available on its website: www.aeei.co.za or can be obtained
from the Company’s registered office, from 30 November 2017, and contains
no modifications from the aforementioned SENS announcement.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The notice of annual general meeting, containing the condensed annual
financial statements has been distributed to shareholders today, 23
November 2017 and accordingly notice is hereby given that the annual
general meeting of AEEI will be held at AEEI’s head office at Premier
Fishing, Quay 7, East Pier, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront on Wednesday, 21
February 2018, at 15h00, to transact the business as set out in the notice
of annual general meeting.

The date on which shareholders must be recorded in the share register for
purposes of being entitled to attend and vote at the annual general
meeting is Friday, 16 February 2018, with the last day to trade being
Tuesday, 13 February 2018.
