NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122 (3) OF THE COMPANIES
ACT AND PARAGRAPH 3.83 OF THE JSE LIMITED LISTINGS
REQUIREMENTS

In compliance with paragraph 3.83 of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements and section 122 (3)(b) of the
Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Act”), shareholders are
advised that City Lodge has received formal notification in
accordance with section 122(1) of the Act from Melville
Douglas Investment Managers (“Melville Douglas”) that
Melville Douglas has, on behalf of its clients, acquired a
beneficial interest in the securities of the Company, such
that the total beneficial interest held by Melville
Douglas, on behalf of its clients, now amounts to 5.47% of
the total number of securities in issue.

City Lodge has, as required by section 122 (3)(a) of the
Act filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation
Panel.
