DECLARED FINAL GROSS DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON REMGRO LIMITED HOT ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES – (“REMIHM”)


With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Remgro Limited declared a final gross dividend of
301 cents per ordinary share which is payable on Monday, 20 November 2017 to ordinary shareholders, and will
be recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday,17 November 2017.


In terms of the new Dividend Tax effective 1 April 2012, the following additional information is disclosed:

1)   local dividend tax rate is 20%,
2)   a dividend withholding tax of 60.2 cents per ordinary share will be applicable;
3)   as a result a net dividend amount of 240.8 cents per share for shareholders liable to pay the dividend
     withholding tax, and 301 cents per share for shareholders exempt from paying the dividend withholding tax;
4)   the issued share capital of Remgro Limited is 529,217,007 ordinary shares;
5)   Remgro Limited tax reference number 9500/124/71/5; and
6)   Investec Bank Limited tax reference number is 9675/053/71/5.

Accordingly, the holders of REMIHM will receive an ordinary share dividend on Monday, 20 November 2017 in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The
last day to trade (“cum” the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be Tuesday, 14 November 2017.

REMIHM Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading “ex” the dividend from the commencement of
business on Wednesday, 15 November 2017, and the record date will be Friday, 17 November 2017.
