TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 AUGUST 2017
In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the board of directors of the
Company hereby provides shareholders with a trading update of the Company’s results for the six months
ended 31 August 2017.
The Company expects earnings per share to be between 1.68 cent and 2.10 cents per share compared to
earnings per share of 21.0 cents reported for the previous corresponding period, representing a decrease of
between 90% and 92% per share.
The Company expects headline earnings per share to be between 1.74 cents and 2.17 cents per share
compared to headline earnings per share of 21.70 cents reported for the previous corresponding period,
representing a decrease of between 90% and 92% per share.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed by the Company’s
auditors. The Company’s financial results will be released on or about 8 November 2017.
