TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a company is required to publish a trading
statement as soon as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be reported
on will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.

For the financial results for the six- month period ended 31 August 2017, shareholders are advised
that:

-   basic earnings per share is expected to be between 6.41 cents and 7.68 cents compared to the
    basic loss per share of 12.70 cents reported in the corresponding prior period; and
-   headline earnings per share is expected to be between 6.56 cents and 7.56 cents compared to
    the headline loss per share of 10.09 cents in the corresponding prior period.


The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company’s
auditors.

The Company’s financial results for the six-month period ended 31 August 2017 are expected to
be released before the end of November 2017.
