CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND THE COMPANY SECRETARY


1.        CHANGES TO THE BOARD

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, the
board of directors of Lewis Group ("the Board"),hereby advises
shareholders that Mr. B.J. van der Ross has retired as non-executive
director from the Board at the Company’s Annual General Meeting held on
17 October 2017. Accordingly, Mr. van der Ross also retired from the
board committees that he serves on.


The Board thanks Mr. van der Ross for his excellent contribution made
over the past 13 years and his valuable strategic contribution to the
group.


2.        CHANGES TO THE COMPANY SECRETARY


In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listing Requirements,
Lewis Group shareholders are advised that Ms. M.G. McConnell has
resigned from her current position as Company Secretary.


The Board would like to thank Ms. McConnell for her valuable
contribution and service to the board and the company over the past 10
years.


Mr. P.B. Croucher has been appointed as acting Company Secretary with
effect 18 October 2017. Mr. Croucher previously served as Company
Secretary from 19 November 2004 until 18 March 2008.
