DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on SENS on 1 April 2015 (“the 2015 SENS”) wherein
shareholders were advised that PGR 2 Investments (Pty) Ltd (“PGR2”) had entered into a zero-cost collar
hedge (the “collar”) in respect of 1 000 000 Peregrine shares, which collar would settle in 3 tranches (two equal
tranches of 333 333 each and one tranche of 333 334) of Peregrine shares weekly from 2 October 2017 to
16 October 2017 (“the settlement dates”), each option in respect thereof having a put strike price of R23.43
and a call strike price of R43.73.

Shareholders are advised that the collar was closed out on 28 September 2017, prior to the settlement dates, by
the return of 1 000 000 Peregrine shares at a price of R28.60 per share, representing a total value of
R28 600 000. There is thus no change in the shareholding of PGR2

PGR2 was, at the time of the 2015 SENS, an associate of Sean Melnick and is presently an associate of Steven
Stein, both of whom are directors of the company. The transaction was conducted off-market and the director
has an indirect beneficial interest.
