Notice of Annual General Meeting, distribution of Notice of Annual General Meeting and publication of
Integrated Annual Report

Notice is hereby given that the Company’s Annual General Meeting of shareholders (“AGM”) will be held
at the Company’s head office, main boardroom, Ground Floor, Palazzo Towers East, Montecasino
Boulevard, Fourways, South Africa, on Thursday, 19 October 2017 at 13:00, to transact the business as
stated in the Notice of the Company’s Annual General Meeting of shareholders referred to below.

Shareholders are advised that the Notice of the Company’s Annual General Meeting of shareholders,
incorporating summarised annual financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2017 (“Notice of
AGM”), will be distributed to Tsogo Sun shareholders today and will be available, together with the 2017
Integrated Annual Report and consolidated annual financial statements for the year ended 31 March
2017, on the Company’s website (www.tsogosun.com).

The board of directors of the Company has determined, in accordance with the Companies Act, 71 of
2008, as amended, that the date on which a Tsogo Sun shareholder must be registered in the Company’s
register of shareholders in order to:

    -   receive the Notice of AGM is Friday, 15 September 2017; and
    -   participate in and vote at the AGM is Friday, 13 October 2017.

The last day to trade in order to be registered in the Company’s register of shareholders to be able to
participate in and vote at the AGM will therefore be Tuesday, 10 October 2017.
