Shareholders are hereby advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that: • basic earnings per share will be between 0.09 and 8.69 cents, which equates to a decrease of between 80% and 100% for the period ended 30 June 2017, compared to basic earnings per share of 43.01 cents reported in the previous period ended 30 June 2016 and; • GPI expects to report a headline loss per share of between 4.39 and 4.79 cents for the period ended 30 June 2017, compared to headline earnings per share of 1.99 cents reported in the previous period ended 30 June 2016. Basic earnings per share decreased as a result of the profit on sale of gaming assets recognised in the 2016 financial year amounting to R270 million.
