CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS – APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATE DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Master Plastics (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders of the appointment of Mr Peter Rowse as an
alternate director to non-executive director, Mr Paul Botha, with effect from 11 September 2017.

Mr Rowse holds a BCom (Financial Analysis) (Hons) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. He
is an Associate Principal at Metier Private Equity Proprietary Limited (“Metier”), in support of the Capital
Growth Funds. He joined Metier in 2010 as an analyst to gain experience in the financial services and private
equity industries and now has more than 7 years’ business and investing experience through the private
equity investment cycle. Peter has been significantly involved in investments in the education, healthcare,
manufacturing, industrial services and clothing retail sectors.

The Board welcomes Mr Rowse to the Board and looks forward to his contribution to the Company.
