CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are advised that the Company has entered into discussions to dispose of the Prescient
Capital assets and the PFH shares which, if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the
price of the Company’s securities. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when
dealing in the Company’s securities until a full announcement is made.

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on 26 May 2017 under the headings ‘Effective
date adjustments’ and ‘Available for sale assets’ for the approximate value of the assets. The Prescient
Capital assets and PFH shares are being sold as they do not form part of the core business of the PBT
Group.
