Voluntary Trading Statement ADvTECH Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1990/001119/06) Share code: ADH ISIN: ZAE000031035 ("ADvTECH" or "the Company" or "ADH") VOLUNTARY TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE HALF YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2017 ADvTECH advises shareholders, with reasonable certainty, that normalised earnings per share (“NEPS”) for the half year ended 30 June 2017 will be between 20% and 25% higher than the comparative reporting period for the half year ended 30 June 2016 (“the comparative period”). NEPS is expected to be between 38.3 and 39.9 cents per share as compared to 31.9 cents per share for the comparative period. Settlement of a litigation matter disclosed in the Company’s 2016 Integrated Annual Report contributed to a once off increase in the results for the comparative period. This aspect together with other corporate action costs, which are excluded from NEPS, will result in both basic earnings per share (“EPS”) and headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) being between 4% and 7% higher than for the comparative period. EPS is expected to be between 37.8 and 38.8 cents per share as compared to 36.3 cents per share for the comparative period and HEPS is expected to be between 38.0 and 39.1 cents per share compared to 36.5 cents per share for the comparative period. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed, or reported on, by the Company’s external auditors.
