                     CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

This announcement is published in accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE
Listings Requirements.

The Board of Directors, Netcare (the Board) wishes to announce that Mrs Jill Watts
(Mrs Watts) will be resigning as a Director of the Board and as Chief Executive of BMI
Healthcare with effect from 30 September 2017. Mrs Watts has informed the Board
that it is necessary for her to return to Australia for personal reasons but she will remain
available to assist and support the business until the end of December 2017.

The Board wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation to Mrs Watts for the
valuable contribution she has made over the last three years.

Dr Karin Prins (Dr Prins) will be taking over as BMI Healthcare’s Chief Executive from
1 October 2017. Dr Prins is a medical doctor and also holds a MBA qualification. She
has extensive business experience having held various senior leadership positions
within the Netcare group over the last 20 years including Regional Director responsible
for 23 hospitals representing approximately 3 000 beds and heading up Netcare’s
Public Private Partnership in Lesotho.
