FURTHER CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT

Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements released on SENS on 13 April 2017 and 31 May 2017,
advising that the Company is engaged in negotiations with a broad-based black economic empowerment
consortium (“the Consortium”) regarding the basis on which the Consortium may subscribe for Fairvest shares.

As these negotiations are still ongoing, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in
the company’s shares until a full announcement is made.
