Shareholders are referred to the announcement entitled “Issue and listing of Series 5, Class A Preference
shares under the ZAR5,000,000,000 Preference Share Programme and Dividend Declaration and
Finalisation Announcement” released on SENS yesterday morning, 29 May 2017.

Shareholders are advised that the implied yield for the Series 5, Class A Preference shares was erroneously
disclosed as being “Prime Rate plus 4% per annum, payable monthly in arrears, not compounded”. The
correct implied yield for Series 5, Class A Preference shares is “10% per annum, payable monthly in
arrears, not compounded”.
