APPOINTMENT OF AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Shareholders are referred to the announcement released by the company on SENS on
24 March 2017, advising that Mr John Dixon, currently Chief Executive Officer of David Jones,
will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer for WHL Australasia, with effect from 1st
September 2017. WHL Australasia encompasses the restructured business of David Jones and
Country Road Group in Australia and New Zealand.

The Board is pleased to announce that Mr Dixon has now been appointed as an executive
director of the company with effect from 18 May 2017.

Mr Dixon joined the Group in January 2016 as Chief Executive Officer of David Jones and was
previously employed by Marks & Spencer ("M&S"), where he started his career in 1986. He
joined the M&S Board in 2009 as Director of Foods and led the turnaround of the food business
before his appointment as Director of General Merchandise within the Clothing & Home
business.

The Board wishes Mr Dixon success in his appointment.
