Change in directorate

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Mr Tlhabeli Ralebitso, a non-executive member of the Board has tendered his resignation as a
director of the company with effect from Friday 5 May 2017.

The Board would like to thank Mr Ralebitso for his valuable contribution to the company over the
past 8 years and wish him everything of the best in his future endeavours.

Shareholders are further advised that Mr Matimba Mbungela has been appointed as a director of
the company and a member of the Social and Ethics committee with effect from Friday 5 May 2017.

Matimba is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Vodacom Group Limited and is a
member of the Vodacom Group Executive Committee. Prior to this, he was the Managing Executive:
Human Resources for Vodacom South Africa until April 2014. Matimba has worked within the
Vodacom and Vodafone Group since 2003 in various roles within human resources. His previous
experience includes key human resources roles in blue chip companies such as BMW South Africa
and Unilever.

Ms Zarina Bassa, Chairman of YeboYethu, stated that she welcomed the appointment and was
looking forward to Matimba’s contribution on the Board.
