NOTICE CONVENING THE GENERAL MEETING OF MASTER PLASTICS SHAREHOLDERS
Further to the ‘Abridged Pre-listing Statement’ announcement released on SENS today, 5 May 2017, notice
is hereby given that, subject to the fulfilment of the suspensive condition detailed in the Abridged Pre-Listing
Statement, the general meeting of Master Plastics shareholders will be held at 10:00 on Wednesday, 7 June
2017, at Protea Hotel Fire & Ice, situated at Melrose Arch, Sandton, Johannesburg for the purpose of
considering and, if deemed fit, passing, with or without modification, the resolutions set out in the notice
convening the general meeting of Master Plastics Shareholders distributed on 5 May 2017 and available on
the Astrapak website: www.astrapak.com.
The board of directors of the Company (“the Board”) have determined that, in terms of section 62(3)(a), as
read with section 59 of the Companies Act, the record date for the purposes of determining which
shareholders of the Company are entitled to participate in and vote at the General Meeting is Friday, 2 June
2017. Accordingly, the last day to trade Master Plastics shares in order to be recorded in the Register to be
entitled to vote will be Tuesday, 30 May 2017.
