POSTING OF DIVIDEND ELECTION CIRCULAR TO OCTODEC SHAREHOLDERS


Shareholders are referred to the announcement accompanying Octodec’s interim results for the six months ended
28 February 2017, released on SENS on 2 May 2017. Shareholders were advised that the Board of Directors of
Octodec have declared a cash dividend of 104.8 cents per Octodec ordinary share of no par value for the six months
ended 28 February 2017 and that shareholders have been provided with the election to reinvest the cash dividend in
return for Octodec shares (the “share reinvestment alternative”).

The circular relating to the share reinvestment alternative has been issued to Octodec shareholders. Copies of the
circular may be obtained from the registered offices of Octodec, CPA House, 101 Du Toit Street, Pretoria, 0002
during normal business hours. The circular will also be available in electronic format on the company’s website at
www.octodec.co.za.
