Jon has a notice period of three months to end on 30 June 2017. Jon leaves an experienced senior management team in place in the property and transport businesses of Investments & Concessions. Kushil Maharaj, G5 Property’s Managing Director, holds a BSc Engineering (Civil) and an MBA degree with extensive experience in real estate deal structuring and development, infrastructure development and construction management. Kushil was with Group Five in the E&C cluster for 10 years and then moved to the I&C Cluster in 2004. He joined ABSA (Barclays Africa) in 2007. As Head of ABSA Development Company he was chiefly responsible for managing the roll out of Absa’s Financial Sector Charter affordable housing commitments. Kushil was recruited back into Group Five in 2011. Under his leadership G5 Properties grew its rest of Africa project pipeline. Zoltan Pap, Intertoll Europe’s Managing Director, holds a BSc Engineering Degree (Civil), a degree in Economics and Foreign Trade, an MBA from Oxford Brookes University and completed Advanced Management Programme at Henley Management College. He joined Intertoll in 1999 as Country Manager for India, then moved to Intertoll Europe in 2001 as Project Development Manager. He was appointed Project Development Director of Intertoll Europe in 2005 and then Managing Director of Intertoll Europe in 2011. Prior to joining Intertoll in 1999 he worked for an international consulting engineering company specializing in toll systems and toll facility infrastructure and was Design Coordinator and Engineer for the design and construction of toll plazas, maintenance centres and associated toll facilities for the M5 motorway concession in Hungary. Bridget Ledwaba, Intertoll Africa’s Managing Director holds a B.Com Marketing Degree from the University of Pretoria. She has over 14 years in general management and business development having worked for Aveng Trident Steel as General Manager and thereafter as executive for Aveng Steel since 2012. Prior to this Bridget held various senior roles in companies such as Murray and Roberts, ArcelorMittal, Thebe Investment and ABSA. Bridget joined Intertoll Africa in 2015 as Managing Director and is responsible for driving a number of strategic initiatives to set this company on a growth path. The board thanks Jon for his contribution to the group for over nearly 13 years, the most recent two years as exco member, and wishes him well.
