CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
of the following change to the composition of DAWN’s board of directors (“Board”):

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Akhter Moosa as an independent
non-executive director of the Board and chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee with
immediate effect. Akhter completed his BComm at the University of Durban, Westville and
qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978. He has extensive experience at board level
and is currently a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Independent Regulatory
Board of Auditors. He acts as advisor to the Audit Committee of SANRAL Limited, is a
member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Competition Tribunal and was recently
appointed as a Non–Executive Board member of SAA.

The Board welcomes Akhter and looks forward to his contribution to the Company.
