Mr Hewitt will also join the Board on the same date. Mr Hewitt has a wealth of experience in senior executive roles in listed environments. He also has a proven track record of successful turnarounds of a number of companies. Most recently, he was appointed by PPC working with four major banks as Chief Restructuring Officer. Dawn appointed him in February 2017 as Chief Restructuring Officer of Dawn Limited working with a major bank, where he again played a significant role in finalising a recapitalisation programme. Previously, Mr Hewitt was CEO of Capital Africa Steel (Pty) Ltd and of the Fabrication and Manufacturing Division of the Murray & Roberts Group. The Board is confident that Mr Hewitt and the executive team will be successful in leading the Group back to a growth path and regaining confidence of all stakeholders. Mr Connelly will be appointed as Executive Deputy Chairman of the Group from 1 April 2017.
