Amendment to Preference share dividend announcement

Class IMRP3 redeemable cumulative non-participating no par value preference shares
(“preference shares”)

Declaration of dividend number 9

We refer to the recent announcement made by the Minister of Finance in the 2017 Budget speech on
22 February 2017 that Dividend Withholding Tax will be increased from 15% to 20% with immediate
effect.

Amendments to the additional information to take note of:

-  The dividend paid by Investec Bank (Mauritius) Limited is a foreign dividend and is subject to South
   African Dividend Tax (Dividend Tax) of 20% (subject to any available exemptions or reductions in
   terms of Double Tax Agreements as legislated) equal to 485.02790 ZAR cents per share

-  Preference shareholders who are exempt from paying the Dividend Tax will receive a gross
   dividend of 2,425.13949 ZAR cents per preference share

-  Preference shareholders who are not exempt from paying the Dividend Tax will receive a net
   dividend of 1,940.11159 ZAR cents per preference share.
