Johannesburg, Monday, 20 February 2017: Harmony Gold Mining Company
Limited (“Harmony” and/or the “Company”) regrets to advise that one
of our employees was fatally injured in a fall of ground incident
at our Bambanani mine in Welkom in the Free State on Friday, 17
February 2017.


The deceased was a winch driver and has been in Harmony’s employ
since 2013. An investigation into the accident is underway.


Management   expressed   their   sincere   condolences   to   the   family,
friends and colleagues of the deceased.
