DISTRIBUTION FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2016
- UPDATE

Further to the announcement released on SENS on Wednesday, 18 January 2017 holders of dbx
World securities are advised that the net distribution payable on Thursday, 26 January 2017 will be a
minimum amount of ZAR 0.13625 per dbx World security. This is based on the ZAR/USD exchange
rate prevailing on Friday, 20 January 2017 of 13.54668.

The net ZAR distribution amount of ZAR 0.13625 per dbx World security is calculated as follows:

-   Gross foreign dividends of ZAR 0.24874 (two four point eight seven four cents);
-   Less: Foreign withholding tax of ZAR 0.03444 (three point four four four cents);
-   Plus: Interest of ZAR 0.00041 (zero point zero four one cents);
-   Plus: Equalisation of ZAR 0.00373 (zero point three seven two cents);
-   Less: Foreign exchange expense of ZAR 0.00316 (zero point three one six cents);
-   Less: Management fee of ZAR 0.07903 (seven point nine zero three cents).

All income derived is foreign in nature and does not include any manufactured dividends.

This amount will be adjusted upwards for larger investors who are liable for less than the 0.60%
management fee (on the basis set out in the third Supplement to the Offering Circular and Pre-
Listing Statement on 13 February 2008 and as per the SENS announcement released on 3 July 2013).

The aggregate amount payable to each investor will be rounded down to the nearest cent. The
balance (if any) will be retained and paid out in the following distribution period.

All amounts have been rounded to the fifth decimal point.
